Service Opportunities at St. Mary's
The Importance of Service
Teaching children how to be giving, kind, and committed people in this world is a tenet of St. Mary’s education. We are concerted in our efforts to teach our students the importance of service. We teach the lessons of Jesus early on through service to their school, branching out to service to their community, and ultimately service to the larger world. Our monthly For-a-Cause days allow children to develop these practices on campus, then move on to regular community service days, bringing this understanding and practice into a wider realm.
